American Airlines Responds to Customer Demand With New Service from Los Angeles to Hong Kong

American Airlines is giving its customers more access to Asia, connecting Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) starting September 7.

Schedule:
Depart Los Angeles at 1:55 a.m. and arrives Hong Kong at 8:10 a.m. (next day)
Depart Hong Kong at 8:20 p.m. and arrives Los Angeles at 6:40 p.m.

The new route will be served by one of American Airline’s newest aircraft, the Boeing 777-300ER offering three distinctive classes of service.

“We announced new domestic Los Angeles routes at the end of January, and customers let us know they wanted more great service to even more destinations,” said Andrew Nocella, chief marketing officer for American Airlines. “This route connects customers in Los Angeles with one of the world’s most important business markets and provides convenient connections to important business and leisure destinations across the Pacific.”

American’s new Los Angeles-Hong Kong service will be operated as part of our joint business with Japan Airlines.
