Delta continues to expand their domestic route network from their hubs throughout the country. These new routes follow recent route announcements that include Detroit to San Jose, CA starting this month and Honolulu starting next June.
MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL – CHARLESTON, SC
New service between Charleston, S.C. and Delta’s hub at Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport beginning June 20, will bring more choice and connections to customers traveling to and from Charleston.

ONTARIO, CA – ATLANTA
Beginning next April, Delta will expand its global network of flights to customers at Ontario International Airport through new service to its hub at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the world’s largest airline hub airport.
Delta will offer one daily flight beginning April 22 and add a second flight beginning June 9.
“Delta continues to grow the overall number of seats from the L.A. basin to our Atlanta hub, increasing over 25 percent in just the past three years, representing service from Ontario as well as LAX and Orange County,” said Ranjan Goswami, Delta’s Vice President – Sales, West.

The onboard Delta experience will be on Boeing 737-900ER aircraft with 20 seats in First Class, 21 in Delta Comfort+ and 139 in the main cabin.
SALT LAKE CITY – COLUMBUS, OH
New service between Columbus International Airport and Delta’s hub at Salt Lake City International Airport beginning June 16, will offer more options and connections for customers traveling to and from Columbus and the western United States.
“Our customers tell us that more choices for flights going east and west across the U.S. are important to them, and we’re pleased to offer new Columbus service to and from our Salt Lake City hub,” said Joe Esposito, Delta’s Senior Vice President – Network Planning. “This service will link Columbus to Salt Lake City and dozens of other cities in the Western U.S.”

“Salt Lake City will be Delta’s 13th nonstop destination from John Glenn International and will serve the needs of a market that’s in high demand,” said Joseph R. Nardone, President and CEO of the Columbus Regional Airport Authority.
The service will operate on Delta’s Airbus A319 aircraft, with seating for 16 in First Class, 36 in Delta Comfort+ and 108 in Main Cabin.
DETROIT – SACRAMENTO
Delta will offer the only nonstop service between Delta’s hub at Detroit Wayne County Metropolitan Airport and Sacramento International Airport beginning June 17. This flight marks the third nonstop addition announced this year from Detroit to the Western U.S. following San Jose and Honolulu earlier this year. Service from Detroit to San Jose, Calif. debuts November 15 while nonstop service to Honolulu is set to begin on June 29.
“The new Detroit to Sacramento service will give our customers even more choice to travel between Northern California and the Eastern U.S.,” said Joe Esposito, Delta’s Senior Vice President – Network Planning.
