While many cities throughout the country offer Restaurant Week’s, food-loving Portland has dedicated the entire month of March to celebrating their acclaimed dining scene. A tradition since 2009, the event lets foodies sample innovative and signature dishes from the city’s restaurateurs without breaking the bank. The city’s top restaurants are offering three-course meals for just $29.00. The sixth annual Portland Dining Month is a great time to experience one of the nation’s most talked-about culinary destinations.
Participating establishments run the gamut from casual to formal, and from the old guard to the new. Over 100 restaurants from all over Portland are participating this year and are all serving up unique menus and dishes just for the occasion. In addition to being the best time to eat your way around the city, Portland Dining Month donates money for each reservation made through OpenTable to the Oregon Food Bank.
