Virgin Hotels adds Palm Springs to portfolio

Virgin Hotels started 2015 year with a bang, opening its first property in Chicago. 2016 is also proving to be a big year for the company, with plans just announced to open Virgin Hotels Palm Springs in late 2018.

More Seats for Virgin Trains

If you’re a regular traveler on Virgin Trains, you’ll soon be finding trains operating with the Pendolino fleet will be offering more Standard class seating. The first Virgin Trains Pendolino to have one of its First Class carriages converted to Standard is now in service. The train, which also received a major interior refresh and a deep clean as part of the work, marks the first of the 21 nine-car Pendolinos to have a carriage converted. When finished, the project will create an extra 5,500 standard class seats a day, a net increase of 2,100.
