United’s Triple Seven(th) Heaven

United Airlines will add the Boeing 777-300ER to its 2017 flight schedules, with the airline’s newest aircraft type featuring the all-new United Polaris business class seats starting regularly scheduled service in February 2017. The aircraft’s entry into service will also mark the debut of United’s new wide-body cabin design.

With the flight schedule update this weekend, United will offer one round trip six days each week between Newark Liberty International Airport and San Francisco International Airport between Feb. 16 and May 4. Free Snacks are Back: United Airlines to Introduce New Signature Snacks

United Airlines continues to uplift the in-flight experience, feeding customers’ appetites for complimentary choices by offering free snacks in United Economy on thousands of daily flights within North America and Latin America beginning in February 2016.

The free snacks come as United continues preparations to bring illycaffe’s signature scuro dark roast coffee to United Club locations at the airline’s mainland U.S. hubs beginning this month and to flights worldwide next summer.

United Airlines Strengthens New York/New Jersey Hub with Move of p.s. Transcontinental Service to Newark

United Airlines will bring the airline’s “p.s.” Premium Service to its New York hub at Newark Liberty International Airport in October. Beginning October 25, all regularly scheduled Newark–Los Angeles and Newark–San Francisco flights will offer:

flat-bed seats in the United BusinessFirst cabin; premium in-flight service; and modern interiors with in-flight Wi-Fi and personal on-demand entertainment with individual seatback monitors and power ports for customers in every row. United Airlines Completes Redesign of p.s. ‘Premium Service’ Fleet

United’s BusinessFirst cabin onboard their Boeing 757-200 Premium Select aircraft flying between New York’s JFK and SFO/LAX.

In the race across the United States, United Airlines announced that they now offer premium-cabin, flat-bed seats on every scheduled transcontinental flight between New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport and San Francisco and between New York JFK and Los Angeles.  This announcement comes in response to Delta Air Lines, jetBlue and American Airlines upgrading and introducing new services and aircraft’s on the same routes.
