Southwest Airlines to Hawaii? Sure Sounds Like It!

Yesterday, Southwest Airlines officially announced their intentions to start service to Hawaii. This has long been rumored to be of interest to Southwest, but now it is official. Specific flight details have yet to be announced, however, Southwest plans to start selling tickets in 2018 for the new service.

Southwest Airlines Adds New Service In Sacramento, Long Beach, Seattle, San Diego, And Spokane

Southwest Airlines announced new flights linking long-served communities along the west coast with new time-saving service. Beginning August 1, 2017, Southwest will offer twice daily service between Sacramento and Long Beach and once daily service between Sacramento and Spokane.

Southwest Airlines Adds New Destinations from San Diego and Ft. Lauderdale

U.S. Department of Transportation Announces Final Selection of U.S. Airlines and Cities for New Service to Havana

Traveling to Havana, Cuba is soon expected to become much easier with the recent announcement made by the U.S Department of Transportation (DOT).  As part of the Obama Administration’s historic effort to normalize relations with Cuba, the DOT proposed to select eight U.S. airlines to begin scheduled flights between Atlanta, Charlotte, Fort Lauderdale, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Newark, New York City, Orlando, and Tampa and Havana as early as this fall.  The proposal came nearly one year after the United States and Cuba reestablished diplomatic relations in July 2015 and today, the [...]
