Delta is adding seven nonstop destinations from Seattle, making 2017 its fifth consecutive year of growth at its Pacific Northwest hub. The new destinations include: Austin, Texas; Eugene, Oregon; Lihue, Hawaii; Milwaukee, Wisc.; Nashville, Tenn.; Raleigh, N.C.; and Redmond, Oregon.
With these additions, Delta will offer 160 peak-day flights to 49 destinations – including 16 of the top 20 destinations – from its Seattle hub this summer. Continuing a service that was made available on North Carolina’s Piedmont service, Amtrak now offers walk-up checked bicycle service aboard Carolinian trains 79 and 80 at the following stations: Raleigh, Cary, Durham, Burlington, Greensboro, High Point, Salisbury, Kannapolis, and Charlotte.
Walk-up bicycles are free of charge, but reservations are required for the six spaces. Passenger must have a ticket for the bicycle and a baggage tag. Baggage tags can be obtained at the Amtrak ticket office.

SEATTLE — Alaska Airlines, Seattle’s hometown airline, is growing again with non-stop service from its Seattle hub to Charleston, South Carolina, Nashville, Tennessee and Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina beginning fall 2015.
“Our loyal customers tell us they want new and exciting non-stop destinations, and we are listening,” said John Kirby, the airline’s vice president of capacity planning. “We’re pleased to be adding new non-stop service to three highly-requested business and leisure destinations not currently served nonstop from Seattle.
