Hawaiian Airlines to Add Daily Long Beach-Honolulu Service

Hawaiian Airlines announced it will begin daily non-stop flights between Long Beach (LGB) and Honolulu (HNL) in the summer, offering Southern California travelers another convenient option for direct service to Hawaii. The new route, being inaugurated May 31, 2018 out of Honolulu on Hawaiian’s new Airbus A321neo aircraft, complements the carrier’s popular daily flights at nearby Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

Hawaiian Airlines Unveils New Brand and Livery

Hawaiian Airlines, Hawaii’s carrier, revealed an updated brand identity and the freshly-painted livery of a Boeing 717 (N488HA), the first of its fleet of more than 50 aircraft that will feature the new design. Pualani (Flower of the Sky), the beloved icon of Hawaiian’s brand for more than four decades, continues to gaze forward on the tail of the aircraft; beneath her, a silver maile lei with woven pakalana flowers wraps around the fuselage in a larger-than-life expression of the aloha spirit.

Travelers Take Off on a Voyage to the Pacific with Hawaiian Airlines and Disney’s “Moana”

Hawaiian Airlines, in collaboration with The Walt Disney Studios, unveiled the first of three custom Airbus A330 aircraft being adorned with imagery from the highly anticipated, CG-animated comedy-adventure “Moana.” The inaugural decal design features four characters from the movie on Hawaiian’s fuselage as they take off on a wayfinding journey, including the demigod Maui, the adventurous teenager Moana, and her two friends: Heihei the rooster and Pua the pig.

Hawaiian Airlines Partners with Emerging Designers to Transform Aircraft Seat Fabric into Fashion

When Hawaiian Airlines rejuvenated the cabin of its Boeing B717 aircraft earlier this year with modern, lightweight seats, the carrier was left with a puzzling dilemma: What to do with the old seats?
