Hawaiian Airlines to Add Daily Long Beach-Honolulu Service

Hawaiian Airlines announced it will begin daily non-stop flights between Long Beach (LGB) and Honolulu (HNL) in the summer, offering Southern California travelers another convenient option for direct service to Hawaii. The new route, being inaugurated May 31, 2018 out of Honolulu on Hawaiian’s new Airbus A321neo aircraft, complements the carrier’s popular daily flights at nearby Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

The Walt Disney Family Museum’s 18th original exhibition, Awaking Beauty: The Art of Eyvind Earle, showcases the life and work of the lead stylist for Walt Disney’s classic feature Sleeping Beauty (1959). This first-ever comprehensive museum retrospective features more than 250 works by Eyvind Earle (1916-2000), including evocative large-scale concept artworks for Sleeping Beauty and intricate thumbnail concept paintings for Lady and the Tramp (1955).

Alaska Airlines announces new service between Orange County, California and Albuquerque

Alaska Airlines will begin daily, nonstop-service from Orange County’s John Wayne Airport to Albuquerque starting Aug. 18.

“We are pleased to bring low fares and another new nonstop destination to our guests in Southern California,” said John Kirby, Alaska’s vice president of capacity planning. “With this addition, Alaska will offer 21 peak, daily departures to nine destinations from John Wayne Airport, including Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.”
