American Airlines continues to add state-of-the-art aircraft to its’ fleet and the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner is no exception. American has been flying the smaller version, the 787-8 and announced this week that the airlines’ new, larger 787-9 will be flying routes this November.
The 787-9 will make its debut international flight between Dallas Forth Worth and Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport (MAD) on November 4. The aircraft will also operate between DFW and São Paulo–Guarulhos International Airport (GRU) beginning November 4. Tickets for these two routes go on sale today.

American Airlines is giving its customers more access to Asia, connecting Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) starting September 7.
Schedule: Depart Los Angeles at 1:55 a.m. and arrives Hong Kong at 8:10 a.m. (next day) Depart Hong Kong at 8:20 p.m. and arrives Los Angeles at 6:40 p.m.
The new route will be served by one of American Airline’s newest aircraft, the Boeing 777-300ER offering three distinctive classes of service.

American Airlines is continuing to elevate the customer experience by adding complimentary snacks and more free movies, TV shows and music in the Main Cabin. Throughout the next few months, customers flying American will begin to experience new amenity kits and services on their flights and at the airport.
