Virgin America Adds New Route Between Dallas and Las Vegas

Beginning December 1, Virgin America will offer passengers more options between Dallas’ Love Field and Las Vegas’s McCarran International Airport.  Virgin America will offer two daily nonstop round-trip flights on this route that is currently only served by one other airline. Tickets for the new route are now on sale with fares as low as $49.00 one way.

San Jose Lands Flight to Frankfurt

The Silicon Valley will soon have more options when it comes to traveling to Europe as Lufthansa will introduce non-stop service between Frankfurt and San Jose this coming spring.  The new service, which will start on July 1, 2016, will be the first non-stop flights to the Silicon Valley from a European airport.

The five-times-weekly service will be operated using Airbus 340-300 equipment and is expected to take about 12 hours.  The westbound flight into San Jose will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, departing Frankfurt in the morning and arriving [...]

Get On Your Bike and Ride Los Angeles

CicLAvia – Heart of LA will celebrate what has become a Los Angeles institution on October 18 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a fifth-year anniversary route. CicLAvia began as an idea with an uncertain outcome when it first removed cars from the streets of downtown Los Angeles on October 10, 2010. Now, five years, fourteen events and hundreds of thousands of participants later, CicLAvia is the largest open streets event in North America.
