Southwest Airlines Adds New Service In Sacramento, Long Beach, Seattle, San Diego, And Spokane

Southwest Airlines announced new flights linking long-served communities along the west coast with new time-saving service. Beginning August 1, 2017, Southwest will offer twice daily service between Sacramento and Long Beach and once daily service between Sacramento and Spokane.

Alaska Airlines announces new service between Orange County, California and Albuquerque

Alaska Airlines will begin daily, nonstop-service from Orange County’s John Wayne Airport to Albuquerque starting Aug. 18.

“We are pleased to bring low fares and another new nonstop destination to our guests in Southern California,” said John Kirby, Alaska’s vice president of capacity planning. “With this addition, Alaska will offer 21 peak, daily departures to nine destinations from John Wayne Airport, including Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.”

Alaska has been serving Orange County’s John Wayne Airport for 30 years.

Southwest Airlines Adds New Destinations from San Diego and Ft. Lauderdale

Southwest Airlines announced new flights throughout its previously published schedule that bring San Diego customers the carrier’s 31st destination available through nonstop service, San Jose del Cabo/Los Cabos, Mexico, subject to requisite governmental approvals, beginning April 25, 2017, making San Diego International Airport its fourth gateway city in California to offer international service nonstop. Southwest® operates international flights between the Golden State and a total of three cities in Mexico: Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, and San Jose del Cabo/Los Cabos.

A Disneyland Classic Returns Home January 20

The Main Street Electrical Parade, one of the most popular of all Disney parades, returns to Disneyland Park Friday, Jan. 20, 2017, with all the lights, sounds, music and fun that have made it a beloved icon. This encore performance at Disneyland park will run nightly until June 18 – 45 years after it first lit up Main Street, U.S.A., in 1972! During this limited-time celebration, guests will also enjoy special merchandise and food offerings inspired by the Main Street Electrical Parade.
