Alaska offers three-peat to D.C., with new nonstop flights between Seattle and Dulles

SEATTLE — Seattle’s hometown airline, Alaska Airlines, today launched nonstop daily service between Seattle and Dulles International Airport. With the addition of Dulles, Alaska customers now have nonstop access to three Washington D.C.-area airports from Seattle, as Alaska also serves Reagan National Airport and Baltimore-Washington International Airport.

“Alaska has the most non-stop flights from Seattle to the Washington D.C. area,” said John Kirby, Alaska’s vice president of capacity planning. “Travelers benefit from our industry leading on-time performance, as well as the only year-round 20-minute baggage guarantee, to speed them on their way once on the ground.”

Customers on Alaska flights can enjoy Alaska Beyond, a new flight experience where they can watch free entertainment on their own device, enjoy Pacific Northwest-inspired food and beverages, relax in custom, power-equipped leather seats, and experience Alaska’s award-winning service.

Alaska also is offering members of its Mileage Plan double miles on flights between Seattle and Dulles. To qualify, travelers must be members of Alaska Airlines’ Mileage Plan and register at www.alaskaair.com. Customers who have not yet joined Mileage Plan can enroll at no cost online. *Terms and conditions for double miles: Registration is required prior to your first qualifying flight, and must be completed no later than March 18, 2015. The double miles offer is valid only on qualifying nonstop flights from March 11 through April 22, 2015, between Seattle and Dulles International Airport. Flights must be marketed and operated by Alaska Airlines. Flight miles must be credited to your Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan account in order to earn double miles. All travel must be completed by April 22, 2015. Offer not valid on free or award travel tickets. Double miles do not count toward Mileage Plan elite status.
