Alaska Airlines CEO and President Brad Tilden announced during an address at the Boise Chamber of Commerce that Alaska Airlines will begin daily nonstop service between Boise, Idaho and Spokane, Washington, starting Aug. 24, 2015.

With the addition of Spokane, Alaska Airlines now flies to eight destinations from Boise: Lewiston, Idaho, Portland, Oregon, Sacramento, Salt Lake City, San Diego, San Jose, California, Seattle and Spokane.

“Boise-Spokane is a highly requested market for us and is particularly important for business passengers in the Pacific Northwest,” said John Kirby, Alaska’s vice president of capacity planning. “Our schedule has both morning and evening departures, which are designed to allow day trips in both directions.”

Alaska offers more nonstop flights to more destinations from Boise than any other airline.
