Virgin Shows Dallas Even More Love
0

Today marks the start of Virgin America service to Dallas’ Love Field.  Love Field is conveniently located just minutes from downtown Dallas and is a favorite of leisure and business travelers alike.  Southwest Airlines has been the strongest carrier at Love Field since they started service in 1971 and while Virgin America is not able to offer the same number of flights as Southwest, they will be able to offer a new product to Love Field.

Dallas Love Field

Dallas Love Field – Dallas’ convenient downtown airport and Virgin America’s new destination starting today.

“Virgin America is committed to Dallas’ continued growth and the opportunity to further expand our upcoming service at Love Field allows us to provide travelers the ability to stay connected, comfortable and productive on more flights to popular destinations across the U.S.,” said John MacLeod, Virgin America’s Senior Vice President of Planning and Sales.

Initially, Virgin America will provide service from Dallas Love Field to San Francisco, Los Angeles and Washington Reagan National with three daily round trip flights.  Each of these routes will also expand to four daily round trip flights starting April 29, 2015.  Additionally, Virgin America will begin offering four daily round trip flights between Dallas Love Field and New York’s LaGuardia airport starting October 28, 2014.  The new service to LaGuardia will add another destination to Virgin’s map as well as bringing Virgin flights to all three New York-area airports (John F. Kennedy, LaGuardia and Newark). The new flights will take Virgin America to sixteen departures per day from Love Field.

With the new service starting today at Love Field, Virgin America has ended service at Dallas-Ft. Worth International Airport.  For additional information on Virgin America including Dallas Love Field schedules and to book your ticket, visit www.virginamerica.com.
