Ride and Earn Free Travel on select Amtrak routes

Amtrak recently announced that Amtrak Guest Rewards (Amtrak’s travel loyalty program) members can earn a free round-trip when they travel on these four routes through March 1, 2014: Acela Express (Boston-New York-Philadelphia-Washington, DC); Northeast Regional (Boston-New York-Washington, DC-Newport News/Norfolk/Lynchburg); Hiawatha Service (Milwaukee-Chicago); Amtrak Cascades (Vancouver, BC-Seattle-Portland-Eugene)

Amtrak Guest Rewards members will earn one free Acela round-trip for every three qualifying Acela round-trips (or six one-ways), and one free round trip for every two qualifying Northeast Regional, Hiawatha Service or Amtrak Cascades round-trips (or four one-ways) taken between now and March 1. Members will be able to book and redeem their free trips for Acela and Northeast Regional travel between July 1 and August 31; for Hiawatha Service travel between March 2 and May 31; and for Amtrak Cascades between March 2 and April 30.

To take advantage of the promotion, passengers must be a member of Amtrak Guest Rewards and must first register for the promotion at AmtrakGuestRewards.com. Members should include their Amtrak Guest Rewards membership number when making reservations to ensure they receive credit for all qualifying travel. Other terms and conditions may apply.
